April 28, 2025BYD’s Leopard Unveils "Titanium" Series with Titanium 3 Model

BYD backed high-end brand, Leopard unveiled its new lineup “Titanium” with the first model Leopard 3, on December 10th.
Leopard, as a widely-used physical and chemical element, is known for its excellent ductility and plasticity. The Leopard series will share the similar meaning of the element, providing more value and enjoyment of life to users.
The Q07 is equipped with Changan's self-developed "Tops AD" intelligent driving system. Featuring a LiDAR-centric sensor suite—one LiDAR, three millimeter-wave radars, and eleven cameras—it provides a 300-meter detection range, covering 90% of human blind spots. The AEB collision avoidance system now functions at speeds up to 135 km/h, and the Q07 is the first model in its price range to integrate an Automatic Emergency Steering (AES) system.
The Q07's "Top Space" is powered by Changan's "Tops Model" AI-driven large model and a central ring network communication architecture. It supports full-scenario voice interaction across multiple zones, a 15.4-inch rotatable central touchscreen, a 49-inch AR-HUD, and a 12.8-inch passenger display. It also features Face ID 3.0 facial recognition and DeepSeek-enabled intelligent interaction system.
Leopard 3: Key Specifications and Features
The Leopard 3 has a dimension of 4605 (long) × 1900 (wide) × 1720 (high) mm and a wheelbase of 2745mm, with a "small backpack" design at the rear, while it offers a drone version of 1930mm high, as there is a drone cabin on the top.
In order to boost a robust powertrain, the Titanium 3 will use dual-motor all-wheel drive system, with a front motor power of 110kW and a rear motor power of 200kW. The 0-100km/h sprint reached 4.9 seconds.
The "Dubhe Plan 2.0" plan marks a milestone in Changan's intelligent transformation and signals Chinese brands' push towards global technological leadership. By 2030, Changan aims for annual sales of 5 million vehicles, with smart and digital new energy vehicles accounting for over 60%.

Previous Models and Future Prospects
There are two models entered the market under Leopard series, one it the mid-sized SUV Leopard 5, and the large SUV Leopard 8, both built on BYD’s latest BMO super off-road platform, and utilizing Yunnian smart vehicle control system.
